What an amazing year for prostate awareness so far! After testing over 250 men in Bromsgrove, the momentum has remained strong and there are many more men keen to have their PSA tests, realising this quick blood test could save their lives.
The PSA testing event I am helping co-ordinate at Six Ways Stadium with The Worcestershire Prostate Awareness Trust and the Worcestershire ambassadors is now fully booked! It’s amazing how quickly the 270 spaces filled up, and how many men are looking after themselves and taking their health seriously.
It’s so easy to think it will never happen to you. But the fact of the matter is, it could happen to any man. At our events, no man will be turned away, every man has the right to a test. It is encouraged even more so if a man is over 45, and has a history of prostate cancer in the family.
If you wanted to attend a PSA testing event, please, get in touch and we’ll put you on the reserve list for the next event we hold (and you wont have too long to wait!) We can’t stress enough, how important it is to encourage every man you know to have their PSA test.
